The Fallon Company, developer of Fan Pier in Boston’s Seaport District, has acquired a 12,125 square foot parcel located at 20 Boylston Street on Route 9 in Brookline Village. Recorded sale price is $2.9 million. The parcel, currently home to a Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant, is located at the gateway to the Town of Brookline. Dunkin’ Donuts’ lease on 20 Boylston Street expires in June 2016.

Boston Realty Advisors was 20 Boylston Street’s broker. The firm was also the broker of 25 Washington Street, an 18,492 square foot parcel also located in Brookline Village that sold for $5.6 million in January 2016 to developer Claremont Companies.

A former Gulf gasoline station at 25 Washington Street was demolished in March by J. Derenzo Companies‘ JDC Demolition division. Claremont Companies is also the developer of an under-construction 130-room Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel also located in Brookline Village opening in June 2016.
