“Pura Vida could have picked any neighborhood, and they picked HarvardSquare,” said Joe Wagner, managing director, retail, at Boston Realty Advisors.

Retail vacancies in Harvard Square were at 12%, or 30 empty properties, in 2023.That figure is now 3%, and has been achieved through a mix of bringing innational chains and local operators, Wagner said.
