The Seaport is seeing a boom of new development and the latest tenants to announce their residency is The Boston Consulting Group Inc.
The management consulting firm will combine their two Boston offices and relocate to Pier 4 by June 2018, according to the Boston Business Journal.
700 employees will move into 202,000 square feet of space across seven floors.
Boston Consulting Group is the anchor tenant in the development and will use more than half 0f the office space.
The Pier 4 office building at 200 Pier 4 Boulevard will total 370,000 square feet.
The building will be 13 stories tall and LEED Gold certified. As well as commercial offices there will be space for on-site retail, a rooftop garden, a fitness center, bicycle storage and parking space.
The company joins other notable companies in the area including: General Electric, Fidelity Investments, PwC and Goodwin Procter.
Boston Consulting Group currently occupies 146,000 square feet of office space in two downtown locations at Exchange Place and One Beacon. They have been at Exchange Place for 31 years and One Beacon for 8 years.
