John Grayken has been revealed as the buyer behind Boston’s most expensive condo.
The 13,000 square foot penthouse on the 60th floor of the Millennium Tower was sold for $33 million. This makes it the most expensive condo in Boston.
John Grayken grew up in the south Boston suburbs Cohasset where he now owns a small island.
The billionaire also owns property around the world, including one of the UK’s most expensive homes in London for about $70 million.
Outside of London he owns a property in Switzerland that was used in the movie The Omen.
Grayken is most well known for purchasing distressed real estate, properties that have fallen on hard times and then are purchased cheaply.
Millennium Tower units are now on sale and the building plans to open before the end of the year.
