Michael d’Hemecourt joined Boston Realty Advisors in 2012 as Managing Director & Senior Partner overseeing the firm’s retail division. Prior to joining Boston Realty Advisors, he was an Associate Director within Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Group in Boston. Michael has executed $2.3 billion in sales and leasing totaling 10 million square feet. The properties he has sold range from $1 million private assets to $504 million institutional portfolios, and include single-tenant retail buildings, as well as complex mixed-use urban assets and outright sales, along with the sale of partnership interests. He has been involved on some of Boston’s most high-profile urban retail sales including numerous assets in the high barrier to entry markets of the Back Bay and Harvard Square.
Furthermore, Michael has successfully delivered multiple development consulting assignments of retail and mixed-use projects in the Boston market involving the orchestration of site selection, permitting, due diligence, financing, construction design, construction management and leasing. This invaluable experience has provided his clients with a deeper consultative service instead of a purely transitionally based approach.
